During the pandemic, I started my morning walking routine. I'd crossed the streets that used to be busy and noisy. One April morning, I remember, I was standing on the bridge and there were no cars, no people. Only bird songs.
This unusual calmness and a strange feeling of abandonment got me thinking: what if people suddenly leave the city? Wouldn't it be a better place?
